MSI X600 X-Slim, Not Only Just Slim

Although not the best in a thin notebook class but at least MSI's second attempt to try out this area quite interesting and deserves a thumbs-up.

Compared to the X340 that was launched first, this X600 is better, at least from the specs. Implanted in the kitchen, installing MSI Intel Core 2 Duo SU9600 1.6GHz with 3MB of L2 cache. Processor performance is aided by the installation of 4GB RAM and certainly not going to make Windows Vista Home Premium installed as the operating system running out of resources while working.

MSI provides three options for hard disk capacity, 250GB, 320GB, or 500GB, so you can choose your own capacity according to your needs. X600 X-Slim is also equipped with Wireless-N Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth optical drive though unfortunately it seems to get out because of considerations thick notebooks. So if you really need this feature then inevitably you have to look for an external DVD writer.

Apart from the thin dimensions and specifications are quite capable, design X600

X-Slim is actually sort of conservative. Not much decoration on this notebook and that means X-Slim X600 can be said to be 'safe' for most people. But the most inte

resting fact is the fact that the notebook is able to accommodate quite a lot of connectivity, although its dimensions is hardly thick. There are at least three USB ports (one port doubles as an eSATA port), HDMI, VGA, Ethernet, card reader and of course audio connector.

Trusted Reviews who had this product tested commented that the physical quality of X-Slim X600 is much better than the X340 which was released first. Problem screen, this site is considered X600 though qualified black intensity and viewing angle was not too satisfactory. Audio sector is also called the weaknesses of this product because the voice sounded very small.

About performance, Trusted Reviews is tested using PCMark Vantage X600 mention this as a fairly competent notebook for home users while the X600 battery life is also quite satisfactory. LaptopMag seems also agreed on the opinion of this Trusted Reviews and adding less ergonomic keyboard as the lack of this X600.
